Faculty

Vida Jurcic is a principal and co-founder of Hangar 18 Creative Group, an award-winning design firm specializing in corporate and retail communications. Vida's expertise is in design, art direction, layout, and conceptual thinking. She has won numerous awards for her work throughout her 30 year career, and has been on the judging panel for the Applied Arts Magazine Design & Advertising Annual, the Ottawa Advertising Association Awards, the Elevators Regional Design Awards of Saskatchewan, the Western Canadian Magazine Awards, and the Salazar Student Awards. She also has strong working relationships with many of Canada's top photographers.

Vida is a graduate of Capilano College and the Emily Carr University of Art + Design. In addition to teaching Packaging in VFS Digital Design, she has also been teaching at Capilano University for over ten years.
