Robyn Wiener

Budgeting & Scheduling

A seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in the film and television industry, Robyn has worked in many aspects of production and proudly holds over 50 professional credits to her name.

Robyn has been producing and developing projects since 2002, including numerous award-winning short films such as My Inventions, Move Out Clean, The 30 Second Guaranteed Foolproof Ancient Cantonese Method, Banger, The Journey, and The Money Pet. She also produced the Leo Award winning music video Accidental Kisses.

Since 2009, Robyn has co-produced/line produced three feature films, the dark comedy Lawrence & Holloman, horror-thriller American Mary, and 'bromance' comedy The Wingman. She also line produced the Canadian indie feature film Amazon Falls as well as the presentation pilot Kits, which was developed by City TV and Rogers Broadcasting.

Robyn is a Past President of Women in Film & Television Vancouver and has served on the Board of Directors since 2007. An active mentor in the Vancouver film community, she guest lectures at various functions and film schools and is a juror for the Leo Awards, The Hot Shot Short Contest, and The 24 Hour Film Race. Always giving back to the community and profession she loves so much, Robyn was recognized for her contributions with the 2013 Wayne Black Service Award by WIFTV during their Spotlight Awards.

A VFS graduate herself, Robyn also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg, and is a former bursary recipient of the world-renowned Banff Centre for the Arts.

Robyn has been a part-time instructor at VFS since 2010, teaching Budgeting & Scheduling in the Entertainment Business Management program.
