Writing for Film
Jessica Bradford is an award-winning writer, director, and producer with 15 years of experience. She grew up in Cambridge, UK, which resulted in a love for choral music, riding bicycles, and drinking beer (but not necessarily in that order, though possibly all at the same time).
A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre's Directors' Lab and an alumna of the Women In the Director's Chair program at the Banff Centre for the Arts, Jessica holds a BA (Honours) in English Literature and American Studies from University of Hull (UK), and a Diploma in Film Production from VFS. Her films have screened on CBC and Showcase and at festivals around the world, winning BC Leo Awards and the Kodak Image Award for Excellence in Visual Storytelling, as well as a Gemini Award nomination. They include: When I Was Seven, The Telescope, Winter Sun, and The Restlessness of Water.
