In what language should the transcripts be submitted?
In the native language.
In what language should the letters of recommendation be submitted?
In English.
Does the scholarship only cover tuition?
Yes, it only covers the tuition portion of the program.
If I am already in a process of applying to VFS, can I still apply for this scholarship?
Yes, you can still apply for the scholarship, provided you meet all the requirements.
What happens if I win the scholarship but cannot attend on the required start date? Do I lose the scholarship?
Yes, you lose the scholarship. The scholarship must be taken on the start dates indicated by VFS.
If I win the half-tuition (50%) scholarship, is there any other way to get an additional tuition reduction?
No, there is no other tuition reduction available.
What is the minimum academic requirement?
The minimum academic requirement is a high school diploma.
Do you only accept the English certifications listed on the scholarship page?
Yes, and you must meet the required score depending on the certificate.
I took my English test but the results will be sent after the deadline. Can I still apply?
No, you must have a valid certificate and meet VFS’s minimum English requirements before the scholarship deadline.
How long should the video be?
A maximum of six minutes in length.
Can I send my video in my native language?
No, all auditions must be in English.
Can I send any of the application materials after the deadline?
No, all materials must be sent at the time of application. We will not accept any materials sent after the deadline.
Can I apply for this scholarship if I have already applied for past scholarships?
Individuals who have applied for acting scholarships within the last four years are not eligible to reapply (i.e., Jennifer Clement, Jack Duarte, Damian Alcázar). In the event a non-eligible applicant tries to reapply, their application will be discarded.
