The letters of recommendation must be submitted in English.
Does the scholarship only cover tuition?
Yes, the scholarship would only be applied to the tuition cost of the program.
If I am already in the process of applying at VFS, can I apply for the scholarship?
Yes, as long as you meet the requirements, you can apply for the scholarship. This scholarship cannot be used in combination with any other bursary or scholarship already received.
What happens if I win the scholarship but cannot attend on the required start date? Do I lose the scholarship?
Yes, the scholarship must be taken on the start dates indicated by VFS.
If I win the 50% partial scholarship, is there any other way to get an additional tuition reduction?
No, there is no further tuition reduction available.
Do you only accept the English certifications listed on the scholarship page?
We may accept other English proficiency benchmark equivalencies, please contact a VFS Advisor for verification.
I took my English test but the results will be sent after the deadline. Can I still apply?
No, you must already hold a valid certificate and meet the English level requirements requested by VFS for your application to be eligible. For Duolingo, the certificate must be sent 5 to 7 days before the scholarship closes.
When is the deadline to submit my application?
The application deadline is July 31, 2023.
When will the winners be notified?
All winners will be notified by August 18, 2023.
Can I send the rest of the documents after the deadline?
All documents must be submitted with the scholarship application. Documents received after the deadline will not be accepted.
