Testimonials

VFS Pacoluna scholarship bio

Sua Jeon
"During the two-week program, I participated in various activities, but the filming day stood out the most. It reminded me why I wanted to become a cinematographer in the first place. While I initially wanted to focus on holding the camera, I also learned how to direct, gaining practical insights on how to lead a shoot and effectively communicate with actors. “Get your dream! Now!”, the phrase which has now become my life motto, is something I gained from my experience at Vancouver Film School."

Hyun-seok Jin
"I had the privilege of attending a short-term program in VFS in 2024. One of the most striking aspects was the level of kindness and patience in communication; the professors were incredibly thoughtful. The lessons were intense and fast-paced, like a crash course, but highly fulfilling. It was like discovering a treasure chest full of new experiences and things that are hard to come by in Korea. The entire program was incredibly enjoyable. It made me want to study at VFS long-term and live in Canada to experience even more."
