Rudy Thauberger holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia . He has published numerous short stories and articles, including the short story Goalie, which has been anthologized over twenty times and was broadcast on the CBC. He is a past winner of the BC Literary Rites short story competition, a former finalist in the Canadian National Playwriting Contest and won the first annual Monday Magazine short story contest.
Rudy wrote the screenplay for the feature film, The Rhino Brothers, and is the co-writer of a feature film, Rover, which is currently in development with The Rhino Brothers director, Dwayne Beaver. He also wrote the script for a short film produced by students at the National Screen Institute's movie camp. He is currently working on several feature film scripts, as well as comic books and short stories.
