Audition for VFS faculty & fast-track your Acting application during our in-person, cross-Canada tour.
This fall, Vancouver Film School is traveling across Canada for The Info Session Tour. If you’re interested in training for the creative industries – we want to meet you! Aspiring actors can book a Live Audition with our Acting faculty to fast-track their application to Vancouver Film School’s Acting for Film & Television or Acting Essentials programs. Successful auditions will be given priority for our brand-new scholarship and will automatically meet all prerequisites for enrolment.

**Please note this event is for ages 17+.
**Registrations must be COMPLETED 3 DAYS PRIOR to your audition date
To prepare for your audition, you must select and learn:
- One monologue of your choice
- One scene from the options found HERE
**Please note: Each selected piece can be no longer than ONE minute each.

What to prepare for your audition:
- You must select and learn one monologue of your choice AND one scene from the options found HERE.
- You must submit a copy of the scene and monologue in advance for the audition reader to use.
- Submit an actor resume, if you have one.
- We will share more information with you on how to do this, once you have registered.
What to expect on audition day:
- It is an on-camera audition, in front of a panel.
- There will be a waiting room; please allow for a wait time up to 15 minutes.
- You will be asked to present your two contrasting pieces (one monologue and one scene; not more than one minute each).
- We will have a reader off-camera to be your scene partner.
- Be ready to share and talk about your experiences as an actor or bring your creative resume.
