Shanghai, China

The Shanghai Vancouver Film School opened in 2014 as a joint venture between the municipal government of Shanghai, Shanghai University, and Vancouver Film School that aims to make Shanghai the leading film and entertainment production centre in Asia. SH-VFS currently offers programs in Film Production, Sound Design for Visual Media, Animation & Visual Effects, and Makeup Design for Film & Television. If you’d like to join our team in Shanghai, simply browse the open positions below. VFS Visiting Scholar Program

VFS has established a Visiting Scholars program, the goal of which is to facilitate the residency of a limited number of distinguished scholars from other academic institutions or accomplished professionals whose expertise coincides and is relevant to the program they wish to visit.

Visiting Scholar positions are non-compensated appointments established to accommodate the Scholar’s goals as well as enrich the VFS teaching and learning community. Length of the appointment will be determined by VFS.
