Explore everything VFS has to offer for your creative career

Vancouver Film School invites you to our Discovery Info Session on November 28, an online event where you’ll learn everything about our world-leading school and how we can get you working on some of the industry’s biggest titles in just 12 months.

Hosted by Colin Giles, VFS’s Head of Animation, the session will introduce you to our award-winning programs, degree pathway opportunities, part-time courses & workshops, and much more. Writing alumnus Matt Lautrup will also join Colin to speak about the student experience at VFS.

Discover what truly sets VFS apart from all other schools and how we provide an unmatched student experience.

VFS has been repeatedly recognized for the excellence of our programs in rankings of arts education institutes by post-secondary reviewers including Animation Career Review, Variety Magazine, MovieMaker, and Princeton Review Journal. Meanwhile, our alumni are consistently credited on award-winning films, TV series, and video games, receiving honours at the Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, and BAFTAs.

VFS’s 12 advanced production programs are accelerated courses of study designed to teach you everything you need to enter the entertainment industry in one year. Our students graduate industry-ready, equipped with a professional portfolio, and with more hands-on, practical knowledge of their fields than many graduates of 4-year degree programs.

VFS can launch your career in many ways. The info session is a great chance to learn about our 2–3-year bachelor and master’s opportunities post-graduation, as well as Canadian work permit eligibility for international students.

Test drive your future with CONNECT – part-time, online workshops and certificate courses taught by experienced industry professionals to top-up your creative skillset and prepare you to study full-time at VFS.

Find out about the many scholarship opportunities available from VFS annually, including our ‘Women in Game Design’, ‘International Talent’, and ‘Indigenous Arts’ scholarships.

The event will conclude with a Q&A, where you’ll have the chance to ask questions about our programs, the application process, or anything else.

Space is limited. Register for FREE to save your spot.
