Ranked number one in Colombia in the 2025 QS World University Rankings, Universidad de Los Andes is a private university recognized for its academic excellence, innovation, and research. The school promotes critical and ethical education, social responsibility, and comprehensive student development across diverse undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs.

WHAT’S UP FOR GRABS?

WHY THIS PARTNERSHIP MATTERS

This Universidad de Los Andes partnership is nothing short of monumental. Frequently ranked as one of the leading universities in the country, Universidad de Los Andes was the first private university in Colombia to be independent of political or religious influence.

Uniandes is considered a “Triple Crown” school, meaning they’re triple-accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System), and AMBA (Association of MBAs) – an incredible bragging right that only 1% of universities can boast.

The benefits of this partnership are many. For current Uniandes students, this is an opportunity to study abroad in Canada’s leading creative programs, complete your full year VFS diploma, and receive the academic credit equivalency for your Uniandes program. Similarly, for Uniandes graduates, this is your chance to expand your educational training and career skill set, while accessing admission and financial benefits at VFS. Additionally, Uniandes students will have priority access to program seats – many of which have long waitlists – and also receive exclusive access to workshops, conferences, summer camps, and more.
