Yes. The partnership between VFS and MetFilm School is based on this possibility.

There are no application fees required.

The tuition fees vary course to course, but they are advertised online on their website. Click the links for their MA courses in London, Leeds and Berlin. As a VFS student you will be entitled to a 25% discount off the overall yearly course fee.

For the MA courses, no. However, they do deliver lots of part-time courses that are non-accredited. See here for London courses.

If a VFS student is accepted, they will be issued an offer letter. This may be conditional or unconditional. The offer, however, remains open until a 20% deposit of the course fee is paid. To understand the process for international students, please see here for details.

The group sizes are typically between 12-16. As the biggest film school in the UK, the MetFilm School is understandably in high demand and they work on a first-come first-served basis. VFS graduates are welcome into the master’s programs, and there are no current capacity space limitations with all master’s programs.

Yes.

In the UK, as an international student, you can work for up to 20 hours per week. See here for more details.

In Germany, students can work up to 180 half days per year (4 hours a day) while studying.

Currently, international students are allowed to remain in the UK for up to 2 years. See here for details.

Students will need to come to the course prepared with their own laptop and have an Adobe Premiere Pro editing software subscription. Students are also encouraged to put some funds aside for main productions, such as their graduation project. MetFilm School estimates that students should put aside roughly £500-£1000 for main production spends (ie. to cover expenses related to actors and crew).

MetFilm School has a partnership with Central Studios, who are based next door to Ealing Film Studios.
