Vancouver Film School Announces New AMA Masterclass Series Open To The Public

Announcement Highlights:

  • The first entry and introduction to Vancouver Film School’s new ‘Ask Me Anything’ Masterclass series

  • This Masterclass will be hosted at the SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts in Vancouver, BC, on Tuesday,    April 16, 2019, from 6-7:30 p.m. local time.

(Vancouver, BC) February 1, 2019 - Vancouver Film School (VFS) is proud to introduce its brand new ‘Ask Me Anything’ Masterclass Series. This exciting new series offers an opportunity to explore different creative industries through the eyes of the highly accomplished professionals who work within them. Audience members will get a rare inside look at what it really takes to break into the various industries and how each Masterclass instructor sets their work apart from the pack. Each Masterclass event will conclude with an open opportunity for audience members to lead the conversation as Masterclass instructors invite them to “Ask Me Anything”!

The first entry in this series is a Masterclass focusing on Eric Jacobus, an award-winning filmmaker, stunt man, martial artist and action designer. Eric is best known for his motion-capture performances of Kratos and Baldur in Sony Santa Monica Studio’s 2018 Game of the Year winning God of War. He helped director Vasan Bala earn the 2018 TIFF Audience Award for Man Who Feels No Pain as its action director and is the motion capture talent behind 8 different characters in NetherRealm Studio’s upcoming game, the latest in its long storied action franchise, Mortal Kombat 11.
