Vancouver Film School and Casting Workbook announce Online Live Auditions collaboration

Casting Workbook’s Virtual Casting Room will power Vancouver Film School’s online auditions tour for aspiring actors wanting to attend VFS’s accelerated acting program

(VANCOUVER, B.C.) September 28, 2020 – Vancouver Film School is proud to announce Casting Workbook will power Live Auditions for VFS’s acting programs via Virtual Casting Room (VCR).

Aspiring actors wanting to attend VFS’s Acting for Film & Television and Acting Essentials programs will connect for their auditions using the VCR, tied seamlessly to Casting Workbook’s robust platform for producers, casting agents, and actors. Actors can be scheduled into secure virtual video waiting rooms to be directed, recorded, and shared. VCR is completely free for casting directors, agents, and actors.

Casting Workbook is an industry-leading application suite that relays actor portfolio materials to talent agencies, casting directors, and production teams across cities and continents. The platform has helped cast more than 346,000 roles in film, television, commercial, and voice-over work, with clients including Netflix, ABC, Universal, and Disney.
