Yes, alumni who have graduated from the programs listed above within two years will map seamlessly into the aforementioned programs at Regent’s University London. Regent’s will also review the education and work-experience qualifications of those who graduated more than five years ago to ascertain eligibility.  

VFS diploma graduates will receive 120 CATS credits, which is the equivalent to the first year of Regent’s degree programme (level 4 in the UK). In addition, Regent’s acknowledges that a VFS diploma graduate has already obtained the equivalent of a foundation year (level 3 in the UK).

  • Copies of your VFS Diploma and/or transcripts
  • Copies of academic transcripts and certificates from all previous studies (i.e. high school)
  • One letter of academic reference from VFS
  • A 300-500 personal statement outlining the following:
    • Why you would like to continue your studies in your given subject on the VFS-Regent’s University London pathway
    • Why you would like to study in the UK
    • What career you hope to pursue after graduating from Regent’s and how our degree might help you achieve this ambition
  • A copy of your passport (photograph ID page)
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs (jpeg format)
  • For those students whose mother tongue is not English, we require a recent pass in any of the following qualifications:
    • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, grade C
    • GCSE/IGCSE English, grade C (for non-EU IGCSE students, please provide along with the IGCSE certificate, the Supplementary Certifying Statement with the breakdown of component grades)
    • IB Diploma English A grade 4 or above HL or SL. English B grade 5 at HL
    • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with an overall score of 6.0 (for non-EU students: a minimum score of 5.5 in each component)
    • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 80 (internet-based test) (TOEFL results not accepted post 17 April 2014 for non EU/UK students)
    • Pearson Test (PTE Academic) score of 53 (for non-EU Students: a minimum score of 51 in each component)
    • Trinity College London Level 1 Certificate in ESOL Skills for life (B2): a pass in reading, listening, speaking, writing (applicable to non-EU and EU students)
    • Trinity College London Level 2 Certificate in ESOL Skills for life (C1): a pass in reading, listening, speaking, writing (applicable to non-EU and EU students)
    • Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English II (B2): a pass in reading, listening, speaking, writing (applicable to non-EU and EU students)

Students graduating from diplomas from VFS will be awarded the following tuition fee discounts upon acceptance into a Regent’s undergraduate Programme:

• CGPA: 90-100% - Tuition fee discount of 15%
• CGPA: 76-89% - Tuition fee discount of 10%
• CGPA: 65% - Tuition fee discount of 5%

Regent’s University London do not charge application fees, however students must make the following advance deposit payments prior to enrolment:

• UK/EU passport holders: £500
• Non-EU passport holders: £4,000

Regent’s University London must have received your semester fees prior to the start of each semester.

VFS students should have passed their diplomas with at least a cumulative average of 65%. Regent’s University London would also like to see your high school transcripts (we typically expect you to have a GPA of at least 2.5 or equivalent). You will also need to provide evidence of your English proficiency.

A Regent’s education is based on face-to-face teaching in small groups. Our students receive individual attention and a high level of one-to-one contact. Our student-staff ratio is low and we work hard to keep our classes at the optimum size for effective personal learning. On Film, Media & Performance programs, 12 students is the typical class size.
