Core Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing & Experiences, the High School Outreach Presenter will develop and manage relationships with high school Principals, Teachers, and Career Counselors throughout Canada & USA, primarily in British Columbia. Working with the High School Outreach Coordinator, you will be scheduled and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and/or workshops (Modules) for students, parents and faculty to be held online or on location at high schools. The goal of the High School Outreach Presenter will be to create strong awareness of and promote VFS programs with the intent of increasing leads and enrollments from high school students

Location: Vancouver (198 W Hastings Street, though predominantly on the road)
Position Type: Part-time - Up to 20 hours a week
Total Compensation
- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour dependant on career milestones
- 2 weeks vacation to start
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with high schools and/or find ways to be introduced to existing relationships with high schools in order to create high school profiles
- Identify the appropriate high school contacts to schedule VFS activities
- Deliver inspiring, informative, and engaging presentations to students, parents and faculty in order to generate leads and enrollments
- Deliver VFS info session events at various venues besides high schools across Canada
- Track all communications with stakeholders using VFS CRM software
- Deliver at 4-5 presentations per week
- Work with High School Outreach Coordinator to book presentations and hand off information after the presentations.
- Promote VFS program offerings and other VFS initiatives
- Maintain VFS brand standard for material and content delivery and/or tradeshow booth setup where applicable.
- Assist with marketing initiatives such as being the spokesperson for on the road events as directed by Marketing's event calendar
- Although based and primarily focused on British Columbia, you will occasionally be required to focus on efforts in other provinces as directed by Manager.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Marketing and the Manager, Marketing & Experiences
Job Qualifications
- Related experience is a strong asset
- Diploma or Degree in Education or Business Administration with a minimum of two years of sales, marketing and/or promotional experience
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to efficiently access Vancouver for in-person meetings/events
- Travel estimated upwards of 50 - 70% during certain times within BC
- Occasional work during weekends
- Valid BC driver license and access to a reliable car is required.
