(VANCOUVER, B.C.) May 16, 2024 – Vancouver Film School is pleased to announce that it has once again been featured on Variety’s annual list of Top Film Schools in North America, making this the eighth consecutive year that VFS has appeared. Additionally, VFS is the only Canadian institution to be featured in the 2024 curation.
Each year, Variety releases a shortlist of top film school programs across North America that “offer an impressive array of educators, facilities and lessons to be learned.” The publication pays special mention to the alumni at large from these programs that have become legendary names in the industry, creating award-winning content and enacting change on-screen and behind-the-scenes.
Top institutions listed alongside VFS include New York Film Academy, Boston University, Columbia University’s School of the Arts, Savannah College of Art and Design, Ithaca College, and Los Angeles Film School.
