VFS partners with VR/AR Association and Launch Academy in preparation for innovative VR/AR Design & Development Program


Announcement Highlights:

  • In preparation for the April 2019 launch of VFS’ new VR/AR Design & Development 8-month program, VFS has partnered with VR/AR Association, Vancouver Chapter (VRARA) and Launch Academy (LAC).
  • This partnership will source industry opportunities for students to work on VR/AR initiatives in the private and public sectors, as well as mentorships for the incubation and start-up of student-led, original VR/AR projects across a broad spectrum of industries.

(Vancouver, BC) November 22, 2018 - Vancouver Film School (VFS) is proud to announce a new partnerships with the VR/AR Association, Vancouver Chapter (VRARA) and Launch Academy (LAC) in preparation for the April 2019 launch of VFS’ new VR/AR Design & Development 8-month program.

These leading-edge organizations are devoted to cultivating up-and-coming talent in the VR/AR industry and will collaborate on sourcing industry partners and mentors to assist students with VR/AR projects across a broad spectrum of industries and applications, including: health care, manufacturing, architecture, travel/tourism, education, aerospace, and other sectors of enterprise demanding VR/AR solutions.
